To start you up, some quick notes about your account:

• remember that our system is SeNsItIvE to upper and lower case directory and file names
• index.htm, index.html, index.cgi and index.shtml are the default-loading home pages for any directory
• upload your Perl/HTML/TXT in ASCII/TEXT mode
• If you plan to use CGIs (*.cgi) scripts, please upload them to your /home/httpd/cgi-bin directory and set the permissions (chmod 700 filename in Telnet or FTP if your client supports it) correctly
